The Fine Print

All booking fees are due in full at the time of booking in order to secure your selected session date. All fees are non-refundable. On occasion some sessions may be offered at a reduced price. In the event of a "sale" the sale price is only offered to those who purchase during the promotional period and is not extended to sessions booked prior to the promotion start date or after the promotion expiration. Client is responsible to pay for airfare, hotel stay, transportation, and incidentals if session is held outside of the treasure valley, Idaho.

Post processing time is generally 24 hours but may take up to one week. As soon as your images are complete you will receive them via email.

Sessions may be subject to rescheduling due to weather. Photographer will make wise judgments and will take your best interest in mind when determining weather. Automatic weather reschedules include rain, dark dreary skies, snow, wind speeds of 15mph or higher, and temperatures below 32 degrees. In the unlikely event the photographer is injured, becomes too ill, or has an extreme emergency that prevents her from photographing the event, photographer will make every attempt to reschedule or find a replacement. Photographer uses their own discretion to find a replacement photographer that they feel is suitable to fit the standards of ShutterHappy Photography.

Reschedule Policy: If you must reschedule your session for any reason other than weather your session must be rescheduled and held within 90 days of the original session date. If you must reschedule your session more than one time for reasons other than weather you will be charged a $75 rescheduling fee for full sessions and $35 rescheduling fee for mini sessions.

In the extreme case that photos are lost due to corruption or equipment failure, ShutterHappy Photography is not held responsible for lost photos. Session may be rescheduled.

Photographer prefers clean, natural images showing the persons true self, therefore she does not retouch extensively. A blemish here or there may be touched up. Please be aware and notify photographer of birthmarks that show during your shoot so that they can remain where they are.

Each outdoor full session comes with an average of 25 high resolution images with the printing rights. Newborn sessions average 9 images. The number of images received is dependent upon the type, length, and cooperation of children, of each session individually. Images are delivered to the client electronically via downloadable file straight to your computer. Images may be used for personal use and sharing. If you choose to post your photos on social networks, please give proper credit to photographer with a link to photography page.

Images received from ShutterHappy Photography MAY NOT BE EDITED OR ALTERED from their original version in ANY way. This includes but is not limited to: turning color images to black and white, adding text, cropping, or color accenting. Photos reflect on the artist, not the client. All images shot by ShutterHappy Photography are property of the photographer. Please be aware that any images may not be used for advertising, promotion, or sales. Client gives consent to photographer to use all images taken of the subject at discretion of the photographer.

You will receive a "LIMITED COPYRIGHT RELEASE" with your images. This release allows for the possessor to print images at a location of their choice for personal use ONLY. Some printers are NOT PERMITTED in the print release. This includes but is not limited to: WalMart, Walgreens, and Shutterfly. Printing is strongly suggested through MPix.com and Amazon. Images may not be used or submitted to any contests of any kind. Client agrees to read and abide by the rules stated in the Limited Copyright Release. Any violation of the Copyright Protection Laws are punishable by law and ShutterHappy Photography does enforce any violation.

In hiring photographer, you are choosing her for her creative and personal style. Please do not expect photographer to shoot in any other way than that of which you have seen unless photographer states otherwise.

Unedited images will not be given to the client or third party under any circumstance.

Photographer will choose a location for each session based on proper lighting conditions, session style, and time of year. Locations will fit the photographers shooting/photographic style.

Client agrees to cheerful cooperation and communication. If subject is moody or unresponsive, photographer can not be expected to get the best images possible. Please plan for children and bring water/snacks and/or a favorite toy.

Photographic Limitations: ShutterHappy Photography shall not be held liable for photographic opportunities lost or photographs deemed to be of less than superior quality due to inclement weather, man-made hazards or eyesores, lack of cooperation by the photography subjects, interference by guests, other wedding vendors or any other persons, or venue-imposed limitations on photo shoot locations, times, and/or Photographer's full use of equipment.

Client agrees to all on-location sessions being at their own risk and fully understands that at any time when working outdoors there are risks involved with terrain and elements. Photographer is not responsible for any injuries that may occur while shooting in any location.

All session sneak peeks are posted on facebook and website unless client gives written notification prior to your photo session to photographer stating they do not wish for images to be posted.

Client has 15 days from the date of your session to voice any concerns with images.

After 30 days, it will be agreed that client is 100% satisfied with session and images. It is understood that ShutterHappy Photography photographs labor and deliveries and due to the nature of these events they take priority over all standard sessions (including but not limited to: families, newborns, maternity, etc.). In the event that a labor and delivery take place during your normally scheduled session, you understand that your session may be rescheduled to the soonest available opening.

In the event that you go into labor and the photographer for any reason is not available to photograph the birth by circumstances of her own, you will receive a refund for the birth portion of your purchase or if possible a back up photographer will photograph the birth. The backup photographer will be of ShutterHappy Photography's choosing and discretion. If the birth is not able to be photographed for any reason outside the photographers control (ie: emergency c-section, baby comes too quickly for photographer to arrive, client does not give photographer enough labor notice, etc) she will arrive as soon as possible following delivery and capture your moments together.

Although ShutterHappy Photography strives for 100% customer satisfaction, photographer makes no guarantees to image quality or specific shots and or poses. Every session is unique by location, setting, lighting, and situation.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. If for any reason at any time the photographer finds reason to terminate this contract due to failure of compliance by the client, the client will not receive a refund and sessions booked will be canceled. Notice of such will be given to client in writing.

Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time without notice. In booking (defined as payment in full) your session you are agreeing to these terms and conditions as well as any future changes without notice.
